I've been intrigued by the helmet since watching Bradley Wiggins of team Sky winning time trials in the Tour de France wearing this helmet. I happen to be a big fan of Kask helmets in general - they have the highest quality and super fit. I race their full-sized time trial helmet. I finally got a chance to compare the Bambino with my "standard" Kask time trial in the wind tunnel yesterday. I saved about 20 grams of drag utilizing the Bambino as opposed to the standard aero helmet. The Bambino was only slightly better at very narrow yaw angles (cross wind direction), but as the yaw angle increased to 10 and up degrees of yaw, the Bambino was not only substantially more aerodynamic but considerably more comfortable to wear. My only complaint is that it is rather painful to spend $500 for a helmet that will be used only for racing.
