By Biff Ulm
I live in Minnesota. In early spring and late fall when the roads clear of ice and snow, this is my cycling tight of choice. These fully lined bibs are perfect for temperatures between 15 to 45F. They have an aerodynamic fit that is snug to the body but doesn't limit one's body movement on the bike. As with most Gore products, they are made with quality materials and hold up to frequent washings very well.

By John Seybold
If you're planning a bike trip to the arctic in January, these might be right for you. Otherwise, maybe not. I didn't realize how thick and warm these tights would be until I received them. They have a kind of fleece lining mated to the inside of the lycra, so they're fuzzy and warm. Unfortunately, there's a price to be paid for adding all the bulky, not-very-stretchy material in there. I found the fabric just too stiff - think, new, tight-fitting pair of blue jeans. I also didn't think they had a proper ergonomic bend at the waist and hip. I put them on and felt like Yosemite Sam.
I'll confess that I hate having anything press on my knees while I ride, so I didn't even try them out. I knew they would drive me crazy before I made it one block. It's also possible that I got them too small, although I ordered the same size, medium, as a pair of Gore Ozone bib shorts that I just love and that fit me perfectly. I'm 5'10", 152 lbs, waist 31-32", inseam 32", if that helps.
I honestly didn't know how to rate these. If you're riding in sub-zero weather, and you can put up with a little stiffness in the fabric, they're probably terrific. And they're made with the high quality I've found in other Gore products, including the incredible Ozon chamois. But for me, they weren't right at all. So I gave them a noncomittal 3 stars.

By R.Blackwell
I bought for riding in sub-zero Celsius and have been very impressed so far. I have been mountain biking in sleet and rain and stayed very warm. The tights are a racer fit, so if one carries a little extra weight size up. I also noticed the length is on the long side as well, so keep that in mind when ordering.
